ABOUT THE HALL
Kaol Recital Hall is thoughtfully designed for classical music, combining precise acoustic engineering with a carefully maintained environment. The hall is ideal for intimate recitals, ensemble performances, professional recordings, and video productions.
Acoustic Design: Built with full soundproofing and acoustically treated wood panels, the hall offers an optimal setting for both live performances and recordings.
Seating Capacity: Approximately 30–40 seats, ideal for small recitals, showcases, and intimate concerts.
Stage Size: The stage measures 100 m² (approx. 1,080 sq ft), providing ample space for ensembles and filming sessions.
Lighting System: Adjustable spotlights with color options create versatile stage atmospheres and support creative presentations.
Controlled Environment: Four‑way heating/cooling and air‑purification systems ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality for performances and recordings.
Flooring: Warm wooden flooring enhances the hall’s natural resonance.
Piano: Yamaha grand piano, regularly tuned and kept performance‑ready.
Additional Equipment: Music stands, monitor speakers, projector, and screen available on request.

Please review the following guidelines carefully to ensure the best experience at Kaol Recital Hall.
📌 PRIVATE Hall Rental (Up to 6 People)

Minimum booking time: 2 hours (includes performer and staff; up to 6 people).

For more than 6 people, please book under Group Hall Rental.

Ideal for solo or chamber practice, recording, lessons, and rehearsals in a quiet, private space.

Includes access to the Yamaha grand piano and the listening lounge (rest area).
-
Not included: self‑recording equipment, control room access, or other recording/filming gear. These can be added as optional extras.

Basic audio equipment in the listening lounge is free of charge. Premium gear (e.g., LP turntable) is available as an add‑on option with staff guidance.

Booking the listening lounge separately (without hall rental) incurs an additional charge.

Self‑Recording Option: When selected, an on‑site staff member provides basic orientation; recording is then self‑operated.

Without Equipment Option: No staff will be on site; the hall will be available for private use.

All rates are listed in KRW; credit/debit card payment is accepted. Reservations are confirmed and a confirmation email is sent once payment is completed.

Recording, filming, and other equipment options are also available when reserving.
📌 Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you cancel 7 or more days before the reserved date: Full refund

If you cancel 3 days before the reserved date: 50% refund

If you cancel on the reserved date: Non‑refundable

Reservation changes: One change allowed up to 3 days before the scheduled date (later changes require cancellation and re‑booking).

Extension options must be paid at the time of booking and are refundable if canceled before the reserved date.

After the reserved date starts, no refunds are issued, regardless of usage.

Note: Cancellations are based on Korean Standard Time (KST).

📌 Group Hall Rental (Up to 30–40 People)

Minimum booking time: 3 hours (includes performers, staff, and audience; up to 30–40 people).

Suitable for filming with 7+ staff, small recitals, masterclasses, and chamber performances.

Includes access to the Yamaha grand piano and the listening lounge (rest area).

Not included: self‑recording equipment, control room access, or other recording/filming gear. These can be added as optional extras.

Basic audio equipment in the listening lounge is free of charge. Premium gear (e.g., LP turntable) is available as an add‑on option with staff guidance.

Booking the listening lounge separately (without hall rental) incurs an additional charge.

On‑site Support: A staff member will assist with opening the space, providing basic orientation, managing audience flow, and overseeing facilities. Live sound engineering or filming support is not included and can be booked separately if required.
